“Zeus me dijo antes de que te dijera a todos.” Esas son las palabras de Lavar Ball después de Lonzo Ball fue elegido por los LA Lakers. The Dream is Real: Lonzo Ball is a LA Laker

“Zeus told me before he told you all.” Those are the words of Lavar Ball after Lonzo Ball was picked by the LA Lakers. For months, Mr. Ball said that his son would become a LA Laker. The reaction to his comments were mixed. His fans believed in the power of Lavar Ball’s good luck. Many in media doubted him.

But then it happened. The Lakers won the second choice in the NBA draft. And although the Lakers tried to hold back, everyone could see they really wanted Lonzo Ball. Well, June 22, 2017, Lavar ball turned into a prophet as the LA Lakers chose his son as their first choice in the draft.

When asked what is next, Mr. Ball said his son would carry the Lakers to the play-offs. Only time will tell.

I have been a member of Memrise for 2+ years. Its system of courses has something to fit almost all of your needs as a language learner. The good thing about Memrise is that it turns learning into a game. I can remember many nights where I battled with other people for 1st place in a course. In this video I talk about my experience with Memrise and what can be done with the program.

MUSCLE: El Incio is on Memrise

I have two courses on Memrise for my students in Communication (Communication Theories and Dr. Akil’s Public Speaking Exam). However, I never thought to use Memrise for my book, MUSCLE: El Inicio. My wife suggested I do so and I thought it was a great idea. It is now available and I will be adding more chapters in the following days.

Here is the pitch I use for the course:

This course reviews the hardest Spanish words from the bilingual reader novel, MUSCLE: El Inicio. This short novel is for advanced beginners and intermediate readers. Each chapter consists of 5-7 sentences and is written in the present tense. It is for readers who want real and exciting stories, but are still learning the language.
